How Billie interpreted the song and its meaning was truly relatable because these are things which a teenager goes through and is incredibly contemporary considering the pandemic that is presently occurring. Other people may interpret this song differently. It can come off as more negative and less intrapersonal compared to what Billie originally intended. Other people can also find the song satire even just by the mere fact that it was made by Billie. It is important to give space to other interpretations because people have different backgrounds and are influenced by different things. These aspects of a person are what influence how they understand something. For example, a person who is not in touch with themselves would not understand why Billie meant the song as it was.
